I am leaving singapore today. I only stayed 5 weeks. I booked a flight back to Japan because I miss the country so much. I booked a one way ticket to Japan. According to Singapore I also have to book a ticket away from Japan. Because Singapore does not want to deal with return extradition back to Singapore. So I had to book a ticket to South Korea on the spot. 😑 Airplane tickets are cheap so it is not a big deal. But I like to travel freely when I feel like it. I forfeit the ticket I booked earlier too. In hindsight I should have booked the cheapest ticket to a neighboring country. Because I knew it was likely that I would not stay the full 90 days.

Singapore was an expensive country. Every local here thought only business people travel to Singapore. I agree with them. Do not travel to Singapore unless it is for business or short vacation. It is beautiful country with tall beautiful buildings and vegetation, but the people here are mostly busy working. The culture is mixed so it is difficult to point to anyone experience that is a must try.

What attracted me to Singapore in the first place was the beautiful buildings, architecture and the airport was really beautiful too. But I do not recommend to come because it is expensive and the travel rules make it even more expensive.
